Join us for a fun, interactive, and engaging experience hosted by Red River Métis Youth Interpreters in either French or English.
In a scenic spot tucked into a St. Vital neighbourhood, your team will discover Louis Riel, honourary First Premier of Manitoba, and the home of his family, river lot systems, and Red River frame construction. Workshops include weaving a petite ceinture fléchée, butter making, jigging and spoons instruction, and a tour of the House. Workshops will be suitable for the age of your group.
Learn more and engage in conversations about the unique culture of the Red River Métis, and how the Riel family was pivotal in the history and foundation of our Province of Manitoba.
To ensure your group's participation and reserve your spot at the workshops, we kindly ask that you complete the registration process at your earliest convenience. We also ask that you share this opportunity with your educator connections.
Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our organizing team at lriculture@lrilearn.ca, or call 204-984-9480.
