What Is This?

It is blueberry season.

There are blueberries everywhere!

Grandma picks blueberries.

Grandpa picks blueberries.

They pick blueberries together.

They pick LOTS of blueberries.

There are blueberries in a pot.

There are blueberries in a basket.

There are blueberries in cans.

There are blueberries in pails.

What will they do with all the blueberries?

Grandma bakes a blueberry pie.

Grandpa bakes a blueberry crumble.

Grandma bakes blueberry tarts.

Grandpa bakes blueberry muffins.

But there are still LOTS of blueberries!

Grandma bakes more blueberry pies.

Grandpa bakes more blueberry muffins!

Grandma and Grandpa make blueberry jam.

Jars and jars of blueberry jam.

Finally, there are no blueberries left.

But there is lots and lots of baking!

There is baking on the counter.

There is baking on the table.

There is baking on the windowsill.

There is baking on the couch.

There is baking on the chairs.

There is baking on the coffee table.

There is baking everywhere!

And jars of jam stacked up to the ceiling!

What will they do with all the baking?

No problem!

Grandma gets on Facebook.

Grandpa gets on the phone.

Grandma says, "Come and get it!"

Grandpa says, "Come and get it!"

Here comes a car.

Here comes a truck.

Here come lots of cars and trucks!

Here comes their family.

Here come their friends.

Here come the neighbors.

There are lots of people.

There are people everywhere!

There are people on the porch.

people on the fence.

There are people on blankets.

There are people on lawn chairs.

There are people on tail gates.

Oh, my!! What will they do with all these people?

No problem!

Grandma puts the kettle on.

Grandpa puts the food out on tables.

Everyone helps out.

The children play.

The adults talk.

The grandparents laugh.

Everyone visits.

Grandma and Grandpa smile.

And everyone eats. Yum!
